These gages have flat bottom contacts for checking size of shallow holes, slots, etc. All gages are only 2" (50mm) long, making them convenient to use in close quarters. Split ball contact regulated by turning knob at end of handle. Measurment obtained by measuring over ball contact with micrometer. Contacts hardend for long life.
